Privacy & photo submissions

Information you provide

Plant identification requests store the name, email, general location, observation details, and photographs you submit, together with your sign-in identifier. CCWP uses these details to review the observation and respond through your request history.

Who can see your photographs

Identification submissions are available to the submitting account and the website owner. They are not automatically published. Photographs added to a published project or plant profile are visible to visitors who can access this website.

Image preparation

The upload interface prepares web-sized images and removes embedded location metadata by re-encoding the photograph. Review visible details too: an address, face, or license plate within a photograph is still part of the image.

Storage and service providers

Website records and uploads use the site hosting platform’s database and file storage. Sign-in is provided through ChatGPT. Opening the customer app, Facebook, Google, or an external reference takes you to a separate service with its own practices.

Your choices

Submit only information needed for the request. Contact c.c.weedpullers@gmail.com to ask about access, corrections, or deletion of your submitted information. Do not upload sensitive personal documents or photographs you lack permission to use.

Analytics and notifications

This version does not add advertising trackers or send automatic email notifications. Hosting and authentication providers may maintain operational logs and necessary sign-in cookies.
